This community’s center is roughly seven miles down highway 211, southwest from Sandy, OR at the junction of Highways 211 & 224. Local attractions include an 18 hole golf course, the Douglas Ridge Rifle Club and of course the fishing, rafting and floating opportunities of the nearby Clackamas River. The area is closer-in to town than some other rural communities in Clackamas County such as Estacada. Commuting into the Portland Metro Area is fairly straightforward; with highway 224 offering a pleasant, meandering drive into town along the scenic Clackamas River. Although this drive may take you a few minutes longer it offers many a peaceful and relaxing drive home in stark relief to Portland’s rush-hour traffic.
